Apply for WIC
Thank you for your interest in applying to the Resource Connection’s WIC Program. You may submit an online application or you may call our Main WIC Office at (209)223-7685 to schedule your first WIC appointment.
Please note that completing the application does not guarantee your enrollment in the program. Your eligibility will be determined at your first WIC appointment.
You may qualify if you:
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, just had a baby (or recent pregnancy loss); or
- Have a child or care for a child under age 5; and
- Have low-to-medium income or receive Medi-Cal, CalWORKs (TANF), or CalFresh (SNAP) benefits; and
- Live in California.
Online Education
You can login anytime to complete your WIC nutrition education and learn tips that can help improve your family’s health behaviors. There is no limit to how often or how much you can learn.

The Resource Connection’s Women Infants and Children (WIC) program is here to help income eligible pregnant women and mothers of infants and toddlers (birth to 5) throughout Amador and Calaveras counties.

Do I qualify?
To qualify for WIC, you must meet income guidelines
and be in any of the categories below:
- A pregnant woman
- A woman breastfeeding a baby under 1 year of age
- A woman who had a baby or was pregnant in the past 6 months
- A baby up to his or her first birthday
- A child up to his or her fifth birthday
Not sure if you qualify?
You may qualify if you receive Medi-Cal, CalWORKs (TANF) or CalFresh (SNAP) benefits. Babies and children cared for by their fathers, other guardians, or foster parents are also eligible. Working families and migrant families are also welcome to apply.
